Saab 9000 2.0 Light Pressure Turbo (LPT) 150BHP
Saab 9000 2.3 LPT 175BHP
Saab 9000 2.0 Full Pressure Turbo (FPT) 175BHP
Saab 9000 2.0 Carlsson 190BHP (ish)
Saab 9000 2.3 FPT 200 BHP
Saab 9000 2.3 Carlsson 220BHP
Saab 9000 2.3 Aero 225BHP
However, they are very easily upgradable to 250-275BHP, though there are the odd few over 300BHP (which is pretty scray through the front wheels!)
Not exactly sure if this is what you were asking for, but there it is anyway!
475BHP 9000 with non matching alloys!:

As Kevin says above, even just adding a Dawes can take 9000s up to 250+ BHP, and they're pretty grunty low down too.
They're a great "stealth" family car, getting very cheap these days too.

Hope you didn't pay more than £500 for your saab 9000 as that's what I paid for mine (I use it as a dull run about/second car to my scoob)
They have all the road presence of a flat in Luton..

I had a 220BHP Carlsson - the gearing made it quicker low down than an Aero. Awesome mid range, but ultimately suffered due to the FWD, torque steer and TCS problems....

Must admit I mis-understood the initial comment in the thread. The very top of the range 9000's (Carlssons and Aero's) would probably keep up with a standard Scoob on the straights. I do love Saabs, but even I must admit the only way I'd keep up with an Impreza through the bends would be to drive through them (i.e. up the kerbs and through the hedges as the 9000 is enough of a tank!)
They are just different cars - the 9000 is a big comfy cruiser, an the Impreza is probably the best performance car for the cash - you pays your money.... I'm just hoping this colaborration (sp?) between Suburu and Saab will actually result in something, then I can have the best of both worlds!
PS. One of my mates will be getting a new STi on the 1st March, with a Prodrive upgrade to follow after a few thousand miles.

The garage that services my Lotus is also a Saab and a Suzuki dealer. they do Suzuki's as loan cars... well im sorry but I dont think the 'reasonably priced car' is for me so i asked what else they had when my car when in for its upgrades and they let me have an M reg 2.3Turbo auto. Less than a grands worth of mota and it was great! flawed compared with a Scooby but top fun.
On the basis of this I looked to find one similar for a mile eater and couldnt find one as they are strong sellers second hand. In the end I bought a Golf 16v but I did like the Saab alot.
