Same problem affects some Mazda models also. Our new shape 323 has just had a recall for the same reason.

Not surprised - my dad's Audi has broken down 4 times due to this - they couldn't get the new part - must have cost them a fortune !

Huge recall announced by VAG on all 2001, 2002 and some 2003 models fitted with 1.8T, V5, V6 and V8 due to the "coil pack" problem.
