I'll second the comment about having Broadband That must be the most pics I've ever seen in one post!
Some very nice cars there. I've always had a soft spot for the Quattro.
I wouldn't mind seeing some Saabs - you may need to start another thread though!

XT,
Fantastic pics.
Did you see a couple of years ago where Tiff Needell put a SWB Quattro against an EVO 6? What a testament to the car a 16 year old car versus a modern 4x4 turbo car.
As soon as the cars fired up I did not care who won as the 5 pot sounds excellent.
Damian.

You are
Couple of those Sport Quattro's look nice, don't like the plain ones too much, although they can't get any worse in looks than ye'old bug eye sat on my drive.

Hi XT,
Is the Sports extra track width purely down to wider wheels/ bigger offsets? & are Sport parts easy to get hold of? or are they're any companies out there producing replica stuff? (flared arches/ spoilers/ skirts etc etc)
Cheers,
DazW

The guys make race chassis and i think they can also reduce your cars length by 40cm and make it a full sport quattro replica. I think(not sure) that the extra width is down to the wider wheels and the longer wishbones of the suspension. i have a coupe quattro and i am planning to make it like the Ur during easter. Do you have a coupe too? if yes, which model.

XT,
No, dont own one ...yet just toying with the idea of modding a UR with Sport Arches/Wheels/Bonnet etc etc ...oh & some tasty engine mods ...Used to own a 'Grale Evo & currently own an ST205 GT4, but thinking about 'building' something even more unique & actually prefer the longer wheelbase of the Ur ...Ill give Dialynx a bell & see what they say.

I followed one of these around some Berkshire back rounds. Don't know much about them but this one had flared arches and the agressive looking bonnet. To my astonishment , the driver was a 60 year old granny - peering over the wheel! :O

The Sport is the one to have. To me it looks so much better than the UR. If you put larger tyres and brakes on that thing it would masacre most things on track as from reading old Audi magazines I have read that it only weighs approx 1000kg!

Love the old Coupe as well, in 1985 used to get a lift to school in one, loved the way the front end rose under power and the noise was intoxicating, if you could find a well looked after one nowadays still quite a nice car.
