Thinking of stripping out my Saab Turbo& adding NOS

May be worth asking on one of the Saab boards:

http://www.saabnet.com
http://www.saabs.net
http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/index.php
I'd have thought there'd be a yank whose done that somewhere

http://www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk/ also specialise in Saabs. Might be worth giving them a call.

Ask on www.saabscene.co.uk
The gearboxes have always been the weak link on Saabs, though, and I don't think you'll get too close to 300bhp without knackering it.
IMHO forget the NOS, there's plenty that can be done with APC / turbo to get it up to 250bhp, and it's "proper" power too
Definitely spend money on shocks/springs & a steering clamp from Abbott if you haven't already to sort the nasty NG handling

You don’t need to add NOS, the Saab engine can take a lot of boost. I also have a 1996 900 SE and it’s putting down 230 wheel hp, I can hold 25 psi and spike to 30 psi. This putts down a torque spike of 280-300 ftlbs. The tranny has been handling it fine. The clutch has only slipped once and that was at a drag strip. Check out my website for lots of info. The link below it to my most recent dyno.
