Agree, the Alpinas are the best rims on a BM, I had them on my two BM's. (98 323 coupe and 98 328 convertible)
As for your mates 5 series, it looks pretty sh1te if you ask me.
I've driven a few 5 series the same age as your mates.
The 530 (auto) was nice to drive but not a sports car by any means. A 525 and a 520 (manual). The 520 is possibly the slowest, heaviest barrel of monkey **** I've ever had the missfortune of driving. And this is from a BMW fan. And to think there 518's out there
So different from the 530 it was unreal, it didn't feel like I was in the same car!
All three were the same colour, white (the worst colour for a BM)
and all were F reg.
If you consider youself a good freind, I would urge your mate NOT to put "pimp tints" in his car, or he will look like the biggest **** for miles around.
I just hope it's a 530, or he has wasted his (dole) money.
