Peugeot 205 dimma split rims?
My mate has a set of wheels off his GTI they are: Peugeot 205 dimma split rims four fronts to suit a standard 205.. They look superb, he’s now striped the car and is wondering what to do with the wheels does anyone here know what they are worth or know a good Pug web page to post the question on? I have a pic but am not sure how to post.. any info will be appreciated

Nice wheels mate .......
Try selling them on peugeot-gti.net ...... they wont be around for long im sure.
Stick them in the for sale section here too .... plenty of pug owners, myself included

Cheers mate, I’ll ask him if he wants me to go for the full sell. I think he should keep them personally but he’s interested in what he’ll get for them as he had a lot of interest when they were on the car..

Nice one mate Yes they are a full set. They have eagle f1’s fitted (215/40/16) and he has another 4 spare tyres. They are in v-good condition but could do with the bolt’s replacing as they’ve started to rust I’ll mail you the pic if you like?

if the seller uploaded some decent pics and gave a bit more info im sure these things would sell no problems.

Hello I’m posting this on behalf of a friend as the original post says…. At the moment he just wants a rough idea of what he could get for the wheels…
Quote: (Ive heard a rumour that one may be bent?) LOL where did that come from?? LOL the wheels are in superb condition but could do with the bolts replacing and maybe a refurbish to bring them to mint but are strait as a die with only minimal scratches on one wheel… BUT as I say he’s only looking for an idea to see what he can get for them…. I’ve told him to keep them and hope he does…anyway…
Quote: (They dont look as deep dished as I thought they were) They are four fronts so they will fit a standard 205…..
Cheers

I think they are probably worth about 200quid to me.
Maybe more or less or nothing to others.
Also depending on condition etc anywhere between 100 and 300quid.
dunno if that helps.

I'm very interested in the alloys, i'm not that arsed about condition though as i'd have them stripped down made made wider for my project car. As Ger says a set of Std Dimma's (normal fronts and wide rears) recently sold for under £300 and these are in my opinion more desirable then a set of all fronts, i'm from cheshire and willing to put in an offer after an inspection of the alloys.
