I've seen the RS16's in a shop in the meadowhall centre in Sheffield, the attention to detail is awesome

Are those GT40's the scalextric ones? they look well with the race dirt on 'em

Well you can get the standard ones (non-muddy) for about £25 each from most toy / model shops.

Usually, the muddy ones are £100 for the set, but I got mine from ebay (proper shop selling on ebay / brand new etc) for £70..

And a great slot car (scalextric) forum - www.slotforum.com/forums

yeah, have a shop about as prices vary a great deal.

the best thing you can do is stick them in the loft for the next generation, before they fly off the track and embedd themselves into the skirting board!!

they are really authentic pieces of kit, but sadly dont have room to display them all, so the loft it is for the time being!!!

Most of my cars are the FLY ones. They're Spanish I think, I've got a couple of 917K's a Jagermeister/Zakspeed Capri, and a 3.0CSL Batmobile, they all go like stink corner like they're on rails (funnily enough) Any one of them will cream any of the proper scalextric cars I fancy that GT40 set as it's a bit different

Me & the stepchav are lucky, we have a dedicated area in the loft, with padded crash zones & everything. Our track consists of two subaru challenge circuits, an XR3i challenge circuit & a couple of add-on track packs all combined. In 'enduro spec, i.e, an odd number of crossovers, a flying lap takes well over a minute

You're more than welcome BB, but be warned, my cats are very discerning, they tend to break into 'Bob Marleys' & p!ss on the seats
