Cheers David Chief btw.
Ideas on how to improve the car (without swapping it!) would be greatly appreciated.

dont mod it any more, it looks smart like that. Dont get carried away and spoil the look youve already achieved.
Get in touch with ford and see what 'light engine mods' they can do. I know they can chip the fiesta zetec s for around £200, which is a top price from a dealer. Then if i was you id just look at changing air filter, exhaust and keep it at that.
Looks good though!

Cheers guys.
Very little engine mods, K+N induction kit only - which is currently off as it's just been in for a service.
It's only a 1.4 (petrol) so the performance isn't too hot. If finances improved then there's a few companies who will replace the engine.
Pumaspeed who fit a 2.3 Ford engine (255bhp?) and apparently Pumabuild who will fit a Focus RS engine. Sticking with Ford another option would be a Racing Puma engine (1.7).
However due to my age and cash situation none of the above are likely so I should stop dreaming.
I may refit the induction kit and wait for a superchip to be developed.
Regarding the exterior, there's a few cars around with the same kit as mine, so considering getting Morrette's? Approx. £280. But as DavidChief says I don't want to over do it, so i'll definately keep the carbon bonnet quiet - (unpainted) approx. £400 - bit too Burberry boy??

Same kit mk6 with morrettes: http://img9.photobucket.com/albums/v...Fmorrettes.jpg
Keep the useful opinions coming please.

Yes save yourself £280 looks better without the Morrette's.
My first car was a Mk4 Fiesta and I had a few subtle mods but nothing over the top.

If I were you i'd leave the exterior alone now and keep it subtle as others have said, and it's not worth spending money on the engine either as your not gonna get much improvement even for lots of £££'s. Best idea is save your money, build up a year or two's no claims then buy something more powerful.
