you lucky, lucky bar-stuard.
I know
I promised myself I'd own a 911 by the time I was 30 (just turned 28).
Another goal reached!
Goals we set are goals we get..........I'll get my coat

Hi buddy, nice car.
I was just thinking about getting a 911 (29 at the mo) but I can't stretch to a 996 model, proabably a late 993 tho.
What line of work you in then - i guess finance or sales??
Burb

NotoriousREV, yes, it's the new Beatle Type R
terryb, here is the spec, all items are optional extras:
98 C2 manual (answers Nat21)
special order metallic viola with grey leather
GT3 aerokit
sports pack (10mm lower suspension, sports seats, traction control)
18in Sports classic II wheels
Aluminium gear and handbrake surround
white dials
sunroof
3 spoke steering wheel
sports exhaust (retro fitted)
I paid a little over 33K after it passed a Porsche inspection. (will now have a warranty on it)
Burble, not finance or sales, I'm a Taekwon-Do Instructor. Late 993's and early 996's are similar money, so 30 - 35K will buy you a good'n
To everyone else, thank you for the positive comments!

X5 is totally different beast to R34 thou admitedly it is a fab 4by4 in an offroad stylee which aint a bag of pooo on the road but far from a R34 performance car....Depends wot u want from the car IMO tiz a lush luxury beast but if performance is key then there can be only 1 choice between the 2....
Si (enjoyed nearly killing X5 round track as part of everyones favourite car show "driven" lol)

I did consider the T25 as I'm sure the performance would be awesome. I just couldn't get past the looks. Plus residuals will be far better on the Porsche.
I considered many, many cars, but there could be only one.
I do miss the scoob, up until now, it is the most unique driving/owning experience I've ever had from a car. I can't see any other car leaving such an impression, it's difficult to explain really.
If you see a Porsche in the Poole/Bournemouth area giving scooby waves, you know who it is!

Hi WENDI B, What you drivin'? I'll keep an eye out.
I'll be in Wimbourne the next three Wednesday's (dentist's, D'oh!). Do you remember a club opposite the Rising Sun called Cartoons? (don't know what it's called now)
I used to be the head doorman there many years ago, did you ever go drinking in there? I had a few scraps in that club!

I drive a MY04 WRX STI8, in black mica with full Rally Livery in Gold! It's Proper Bo!
I've only lived here for 2 years so the only club I've been to is K Bar in Bournemouth.
I bet my mates will remember it though

There's quite a few women round here with scoobs, I see a WR1 round here now and again driven by a woman.
I can't tell you why, but a woman in a scoob/Evo is very hot!
