Default RS national day donnington yesterday

Just wanna say well done to the eighty or so escort RS turbo owners for keeping your cars in such superb condition for the parade laps. Younger drivers of such cars get a bit of a hard time of it but having walked the length of the parade I didnt see one rust spot or dinged panel. Fair play to ya.

oh and the Mk1 and Mk2 escort mexico's, RS2000's etc were just superb and I want one big time.

Rob always gives it his all - his Scoob is more suited to Oulton and CC though. I have had passenger rides out with him at Oulton in it, also the 'satsuma' Evo, thats running 450bhp You should have come over and said hello.

I was with them at the Nurburgring at Easter and will be back over there with then again next month. Speaking to them yesterday I think the boost is turned up on the EVO now and its running nearer 500BHP. The guy who ownes it also has a 600BHP skyline and that is gorgeous to say the least. Oh and that Ford lightening 400bhp truck as well lol. He has tooooo much money IMHO.

Have you been to the ring before?

Yep, Clare and I went after we had an early alarm call.......baaaaaaaarp tsssssssssssh!

I did see you on the pit wall, but we had a bit of track in the way to get to you.

SIDC could learn something from an event like that......very well organised with some fantastic cars there.

My missis has done an 8.30 lap in the white EVO that their mate Darren drives. That boy can drive.

I noticed lots of RS, cosworths etc. on the M1 yesterday morning and guessed there must have been something going on at Donny. Didn't see any convoys though.
