Its 100% Audi, every part say Audi.

It was either that or a 182.

exactly, need a big comfortable car.

I was looking at S3's, 3 year old ones for the same price as a brandnew vRS. Plus a 3 yearold S3 looses £15k! Thats a massive amount.

Once its been boyced, the vRS we are looking at around 250bhp with remap, boost controller, induction kit, turbo pipe. For less than £800!

Go to Skodanet.co.uk there are loads of people trying to convince themselves that a skoda is cool there too.

thats such an uneducated view!

its a Golf Gti (180) for 6k less, it built better than a leon.

Does it look as good as a Golf GTI 180? Will it hold its value as well as a Golf GTI 180?

looks alot better than a golf, the interior is far superior. A 3 year old vRS is worth around £9k, £5k lost. Where as an S3 lost £15k over the same length of time.

i really wouldn't run a MBC with a re-map, this will surely override your L.I.M.P home mode - induction kits aren't the best option.

ITG panel filter, REVO remap - job done. I think miltek will sort you out with a turbo back system including sport cat which will help a lot. £600 gets you 250 bhp, the zorst will be around £800 but add another 10-15 bhp and a nice free reving engine with lots of low down torque

Good choice of car - enjoy

Andy

I've heard mixed review's on the revo, leoncupra forum seem to really rate them, although I believe that they get around 215bhp from a remap.

I was thinking of a Jabba sport remap, which brings the power to around 230bhp.

GT2's might lose 20k in a year....it's all relative though.

I imagine the S3 was more expensive to begin with?

In fact my mate has just bought a 3 year old one........cost him 18k

S3's are around 30k, I believe. the 15k I was talking about isn't a dealer price, thats tradein/priavte sale, obviously the dealer is going to stick his markup on it.

Make sure you mate gets his cambelt done, there's been alot of problems with thses going on the s3.

Not wanting to incite a "Which is better" thread. I more or less gave up on buying an Impreza when I couldn't find a decent one and had decided to buy a black RS from a local dealer.

My heart said Scoob and I found one that weekend I was due to test the RS so never drove it. My head said RS and I don't want to drive an RS - just in case.

I've always wanted a scoob, bet I'm not that keen on the new 'bug' eye ones, I like Rusty's shape one. Don't think i could afford to run a scoob though as I do alot of miles.
