Thurs quiz question....
Ok, I was driving a car yesterday which had…..a shift change up light. What car was I in?
A few clues:
1) It was a new, UK spec
2) It was a standard showroom road spec, not a track nutter
Maybe a few more clues to follow.
Answers on a postcard.

Worse.
Clue - it was a Hertz rental and no owner on the planet will find out it has one.

Nothing so trendy. It was the automotive equivalent of Delia Smith.

OK - are you ready for this? A Ford C-Max. The best bit? It was a TDCi. So you can understand the touring cars having a change up light, certainly a Caterham and even a Clio 182 as a marketing gimmick, but a diesel C-Max? Considering its electronically governed anyway!
Oh, and it didn't have a lockable glovebox so that was a good use of the budget then.

My mate has one. Now I'm going to tell him, just to prove you wrong

I thought that but it only comes on when the needle is in the red zone! Not one of those "change up early and save the trees" warning lights.
