Basically what you pay for is what you get, michelins are the best all-round (thus most expensive)...more expensive ones of the same brand are better - obviously
In the following order
Michelins
Continental
Yokohama (better than conti's in dry...worse in the wet)
Firestone
Toyo
Pirelli
Falken
And don't touch the rest with a barge pole.
There isn't much between contis, fires and yokos really, more down to personal preference.

I had Toyo proxies on the wifes T5, but that managed 3000 miles out the fronts I was impressed with the performance, but once 3/4 through their life span got a bit dangerous in the wet however with sub 1000 kg kerb weight it should be better, interesting that the michalins got a vote - whats the tread patten like ?!?!

HTH
Just noticed that the Conti's you listed aren't "sport contact" I would have opted for them if they were in the list.

another vote for Toyo T1S's - had a couple of sets on my Scoob, recently reshod the 205 GTi with the same.
Good tyres - great price - paid about £30 a corner (plus fitting) for the Pug ones.
