+ 4wd good for putting down 450bhp in wet etc
+ huge room great in the back (but ride is very firm)
+ best built

All great cars, day to day I'd go for the E55 bestest crusing and in traffic , fastest and not that far off the M5 for driving pleasure.

I ve got the W210 E55 AMG ie 350 BHP and 390 ft/lb, and I m generally very pleased with it, enough performance to see off anything prety much and copes with family duties admirably with huge interior and cavernous boot. Sleepy styling means it's a real Q car and helps avoid attentions of the basebll cap and Nova brigade, and also car thieves and indeed traffic police. RWD handling is fun even with the traction switched on. With it off it is a scream. A bit big for country lane work but surprisinlgy good on better b roads and A roads. 30-31 mpg on a mway run, 15 mpg in town and overall about 22-24 mpg so not any worse and probably better than animpreza/evo.
All the usual 60k car toys, all for 25k now secondhand.
