i hear from a good source the fastest quarter mile is an rs200 when it had its gears ratio`d to a top speed of 160 ,,,,,,,
hill climbing rs200 kind of modifications ,,,, seriously stupid fookin mod`s

0-60 record I believe is held by a company called Z-cars who used a tricked up version of their twin 1200cc bike-engined 4wd kit car (lotus 7 style)

That's a ridiculous speed to reach in 1/4 of a mile 
That time is truely amazing too. I was reading an old magazine from last year or maybe the year before when the record was 11 seconds or so for a skyline, look at how far we've come in such a short amount of time!

There are faster Skylines and there are faster street legal cars. (yank tanks have done 8secs I'm sure) so is this just the UK Skyline record it's broken?

sorry to be dim, but am i to assume that an R32 did this time? (going by your scooby name)
only the R33 top secret car is apparently on these shores now having been bought by an un-named buyer. first time top secret have sold one of their demo cars i believe.
very bloody fast car and didn't know if this car is what set the time?

Who also has an 800 odd bhp R34 GTR Nur Spec, a Bayside Blue R34 GTR, the JUN Hyper Lemon R33 GTR & now the Top Secret Drag R2

What is the point - other than to drag and inevitably 'impress' people who are impressed by numbers.
IMHO - its an impressive feat to produce such a fast car no doubt - but it won't ever give the rewards of driving a dynamic supercar eg. Ferrari, Porsche etc......
