just say you were to buy a £15k ish cossie with say 330 bhp , how much more would you have to spend on the car to get a reliable 550 bhp ? uprate brakes handeling etc...

It depends how reliable you want to go.
You 'll need uprated, gearbox, diffs, brakes, also depending on what management system you'd use. Martin Hadland can build the engines at a good price along with supplying you with most of the other bits you'd need.
I reckon as a guestimate you'll be looking at about £20k+ depending how far you want to go. Personally I think you'd be better off buying one thats already done ...

You would do better asking this question on PassionFord... prices will vary considerably depending on which tuner you use. All us Esc Cos owners have our own preferred tuners
