Better than the Z4, X3 and 7 Series. Not as cohesive as the 5 Series and X5 though.

Definitely better than the 1 Series - that is one ugly car.....

Again they're trying to be different for the sake of it. Not an improvement on the current model but it could have been worse.

According to rumour BMW will be releasing a 330 Turbo early next year with 340 BHP as a filler between the 330i and the new 400BHP M3. Could be the next car

They have spent years slaggin off turbos - will require a major climbdown if they do. surely they could get 340 BHP from an NA 330 now??

BMW will only ever turbocharge oil-burners. AFAIK the have been investigating the use of superchargers, but the cost is very high, as Mercedes-Benz have discovered.

BMW's are becoming infinitely boring on the outside just as they become more exciting under the bonnet. Why can't they manage both?

Check out Autocar mate, apparently there is going to be a 330i Turbo. I have already placed a provisional order for a new 330i cabrio for the missus for 2006 , hmm, 340 bhp for a turbo 330i could be nice, german build quality and stacks of power and torque.
