This brightened up my day this morning
On a dreary Monday morning when I'd already been hassled twice on the way to work I was pleased to get this email. The title was the reg number of my old Integrale I opened it and the text was:
Remember me? The car that is!
Still going strong, haven't included anymore as i'm not sure if this email is valid.
Regards,
Martin.

And a couple of photos
Glad to see it's still going strong after all the hours that I spent in my garage working on it It looks stunning now though

We knacked it at Oulton park last week in my mate's WR1
He had an off at the Shell hairpin shortly after we passed him, he stopped the session but I don't think he did any damage

Yes, it was my first time at OP and I was just learning the circuit, the reason you got past so easy was I'd just missed a gear, sounds like an excuse I know, but it's true! I was mightily pissed off at letting you through so easy and proceeded to track you down, but got held up behind a slower car, he was blue flagged and pulled over at Lakeside to let me through but then booted it to make it hard for me, I'd only just gotten clear of him and was approaching Island on the wrong side of the track going far too fast and had to take to the grass for a couple of hundred yards at about 70mph! I then flopped onto the gravel, managed to keep it going and went to get back on track, the guy that forced me off in the first place was just pootling past so I had to slow down, that's when the old ship sunk! Game over.
Sorry for stopping the session, I know how annoying it can be, it wasn't completely my fault though, and it was just about lunchtime!
We were also plagued by a bad understeer problem all morning, (esp' at Island!!) suddenly it dawned on me at lunchtime, Tyre pressures! yep, they were too high at the front and I had a slow puncture at the back, stupid mistake, I adjusted them and then we were really flying, even through the heavy rain later on, right up to the chequred flag at 5pm. A good day out.
Chip.
