Default 964RS

A friend of mine deals in these babies. Well actually he deals in all things 911. 964RS 993RS 500BHP GT2 etc etc. Spent a fair bit of time having a good look over them this weekend. He took me out in a 993RS but it was raining and sticky tyres and rain just dont go together.......
I would really like a 964RS. I have to say I can only see their value going up in the next few years. They are the most track focused car porsche has made and my friend said that owners of GT3's etc were trading their car in on 964rs's when they catch the track bug. This is keeping the values high and actually driving them upwards. £32K get you a non club sport car with around 50K miles. 34-40K a nice clubsport, so not cheap. Mind you his are all absolutely imacculate.
He would of taking Davyboy and me out in his original GT2 with 500BHP (twin turbo) if it was dry but it wasnt unfortunately. It has the biggest wings and road pressence I think I have ever seen in a car....
Right now its time to have a long hard think as to how to finance an RS.

Oh and externally i still think its the worst looking 911 ever made but once you have been out in one (had a lap round the ring earlier this year) you know what this car is all about.

Hardcore for sure.

I wonder if these cars will be worth the 100K original 2.7Rs's are fetching now in 15 years time?

964 is the best looking 911 imo. Classic yet modern, modern yet classic.

So, you really want one then?? Best car I've been in around the 'Ring for sure. Jules' was incerdible!!!!!!!!!

A quote from this month's evo fits the bill here

'If you're gonna have a mad car, you may as well have it in a mad colour'

We need to have an agreement between us and plenty of trust etc, but its feeling like a good idea to me...At least neither of us could sneek out for a drive in it when the other wasn't looking as it would be living in Germnay most of the year me thinks ......

come on Dave you know you wanna ...... shall i get the scoob up for sale???

I think as long as you have agreements up front then you won't have any problems - we always have.

Not sure if having it in another country is a good idea though - you may find it frustrating if you fancy a quick 30min blast and can't. Just a thought......

I drive it, Ian washes it

How much is it if you don't mind me asking? £35? looks a nice one - can't you stretch to the GT2?

Funnily enough the guy who is selling them reckons that he prefers the 964 to the GT2. Sounds stupid I know but for the full driving experience the 964 is the fella to have.

Personally i aint sure about gay pink but hey hoo ........£32K from memory. Needs a cage and 5 point harness though. Although Dave prefers them without i think.
