Cool Another What Next?

Over the past seven years I have been lucky enough to own five Evos and Scoobies (most recent being STi8 PPP) ... now what?

Am in a Civic Type R at the moment until I make up my mind but every other change I really knew what I wanted ... now I am confused.

Was after an M3 but after 2 private deals fell through am having second thoughts? Drove a 350Z and a 993 but was pretty underwhelmed by both despite them looking the part?

So now I am after some inspiration? current thought is an M3 CSL ... it needs to be something I can live with everyday? Anyone own a CSL or got some other ideas?

CSL's never seem to be worth the extra money

I'm probably going from my current Civic Type R into a 993 carrera 4

another car, if you want a bit of raw exitement stick with your TypeR and buy a second hand Cerbra you'll get a goodun for under 20k with TVR history, you wont get more exiting than that.

Why don't you try something a little different. What about a Honda NSX. They seem to hold there value, and will go punch for punch with an M3.

If it's 4 seats you are after, then you really can't see past the M3/CSL, M5, MR340/400.

Or get your self and old bruiser. What about a Lotus Carlton?

Got a C32 AMG at the moment, great understated style, not as nimble or good to drive as an M3 but prolly a little quicker, auto only but a cracking auto it is.

After 3 Scoobies & various other fast hatches (my last car was a Cupra R), I decided to go for a larger, more comfortable car. Collected a MY2000 E39 M5 in November & its great !!. Fantastic quality, comfort & performance (and the V8 roar) for the money. There are some great example out there as long as you do your homework. I paid just over £20k privately for a fully loaded example (with Nappa/Satnav/TV/tracker etc) - not bad for a car that cost £64 in 2000. It is also still under extended warranty (which was just as well as it needed a new water pump a few weeks ago). The local dealer has been good too. Get one - you won't look back......
