As James said, the latest is that it will remain a concept and won't make it to production but the rumours change every week. Ford just don't seem to have the ***** to build it which is a shame considering what they've produced "hot hatch" wise in the past.

Ford seem to release watered down versions of cars where once they would have swung the other way and released ***** out proper performance cars.
Any ford with si or st IMHO is pretty grap compared to the cars they released in xr guise and certainly the rs brand. Although I never owned a cosworth, Ive had in earlier years 2 xr2is and a rs fiesta. Certainly no prize winners in the performance world, previous hot hatch fiestas of 15 years ago more than stand up against what ford push out these days in the same class. The rs fiesta was mental, especially when lightly modded
and actually was more fun to drive than any impreza i have owned.
