Default Gutsy coupe for £15K?

Looks like the Celica may be going soon. Nothing wrong with it, just it was a sort of stop gap car so we could get rid of that barge of a Primera.

Really srtuggling for ideas: Want something with guts, no wah wah revvy and limp wristed around £15K and around 3-4years old

350Z would be ideal, but not sure on the market - seems to be flooded with imports at that price and havn't a clue on specs or fuel requirements etc.

325 or 330 coupe. Yes, the 325 is not a fast car I know, it has the same BHP as the Celica - but we're after guts (low down torque) here, not speed. At least they pull away in 2nd gear without any gripes.

And then theres...ummm?

RX8 and teg was knocked off on the same account as having the same probs as the Celica et al.

Sort of stuck after that. Any ideas?

Hmm, Volvo is one I haven't thought of. Have to have at look at them.

I was offered a TT a while back, I'm sure they'll drop like a brick 2nd hand if a replacement is ever introduced.

Keep the ideas coming

My suggestions are in the following order

Holden HSV GTS 255 LS1
Toyota Supra Twin Turbo RZ
TVR Cerbera 4.2
E36 M3 Evo
Chevrolet Camaro 5.7 V8 Z28
Porsche 968
Audi S2
Fiat Coupe 20VT Plus
Integra Type R
Nissan 200SX s14

The Holden is pretty rare and unusual and certainly has guts!, though its a little bit over £15k, but if you could stretch to £16-£17 it is feasible.

Holden HSV GTS 255 LS1
If I could find one in the UK I would be driving it right now

Honestly, the age limit has to be 4years. Purely for maintanence, availability, and less wasted jouneys looking at "immaculate for age" cars that have been ragged to death which seems to flood the market for older cars

No scoobies...scum magnet Already have enough probs with one as it is

And it looks absolutely amazing, though not strictly a coupe though but I'm sure that 350bhp 5.7ltr V8 wouldn't stop you.
