Default mitsi on the rails

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4163867.stm

no one likes to see a car firm in trouble, especially one who builds such a lovely car.
on a lighter note, maybe the new fq400 is actually going to be an Fq406 diesel?

Would be great if someone like Toyota bought them and applied their effiecient profitable lean manufacturing skills and quality controls to make a 400bhp car that was ultra reliable but also looked stunning. GM was always going to be a poor partner for these kind of innovative and geniunely exiting cars.
I like Toyota but they often lack the Evo / Scooby character. Bring back the 4 x 4 Celica's and 3000 turbo Supra's!!

If they do go then a closing down sale would be tremendous.

Evo 8 for £5000

Yes please.

Mitsubishi's sales have slid 41% in the past year, catalysed by the revelation that the company had systematically been hiding records of faults and then secretly repairing vehicles.
Frightening paragraph out of that BBC news link in the original post!!!

Well out of order, mind you perhaps explains the 4.5K service intervals - just checking for manufacturing faults sir!!

In fairness the evo has probably been their lifeline with the animal trucks, the other mitsis are where the problem will be . Charismas and colts are hardly inspiring

they should have kept the looks of the evo 6 IMHO and make the cars more agressive looking - not that it would make any difference if they have been hiding fault reports etc.

I would have been tempted over if the EVO VII or VIII looked more extreme.
