Another question for the TV experts
Haven't got round to buying a new TV yet but just seen this in a magazine and want to know if it's any good:
http://homecinema.tiny.com/packages.php?prodid=12901
Now I realise that people keep saying it's not worth buying a cheap Plasma/LCD screen as a similar priced CRT is much better & the fact that I wouldn't usually comprehend buying anything from TINY but would it really be that much worse
BTW for the same money well atcually less I could get a Toshiba (70kg+ ) 36ZP48 with at least a 3 year warranty
And whatever I get I'll be buying this to go with it http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/182_203327.html
Should I ignore all these massive LCD/Plasma/Rear Projection screens and just buy the CRT?
Oh and my mate's just spent £5k on a 50" Plasma and after sampling that it's probably partly why I've not ordered a 36" CRT yet as it's not much of a upgrade coming from a 32" screen.

Stop stop stop stop stop - Do NOT buy the Tiny plasma.
Have a wander over to www.avforums.com and look in the plasma forums at
a.) The hefty list of unhappy owners who parted with money for a 'bargain' Tiny plasma lately and are massively cheesed off with the performance.
b.) The grief they are having getting Tiny to do anything about it. Tiny's view on it is if the picture displays on the RF input the screen isnt faulty despite nobody being able to get a watchable Sky or DVD picture out of them.

Thanks for pointing that out about the TINY TVs, just aswell I asked
As the special offer on the Toshiba 36ZP36 from Dixons/Currys has finished and price has gone up £200 I'm putting the purchase of main tv on hold, however after reading up on LCDs on avforums I just missed a 27" widescreen LCD from ALDI (HDTV ready) for £599 and supposed to be very good for the money so will look for something similar as a 2nd tv to replace a 11 year old 21" Samsung TV that's on it's way out
