Red face Clio V6 - Should I ?

Please take a look at this eBay auction :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...519586348&rd=1

And pass comment whether you think it would be a worthwhile (money making) venture...

Over to you...

Matt

Thumbs down

Its a Mk1 V6 (albeit with Mk2 panels fitted).

These cars were renowned for their very dodgy handling. The tail would let go with no warning and the oversteer was almost impossible to recover. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened to the previous owner.

You can get a mint one for about 11-15k these days as they took a nose dive once the new model came out and the handling issues became widely known.

I wouldn't touch it mate.

Now if it was a MK2 then I'd maybe consider it. I wouldn't be too happy that it's had a bit of a smack though.

Agreed, there isnt much money to be made in that...

Be a mare to sell on...

..and the driving "experience" is a let down, apart from the noise......

Probably be a good project for turning into a modified uprated stripped out track day toy though...

Question

Mk2 supposed to be much better than the 'edgy' handling Mk1.
