In a complete change of thinking I have decided I want an RS2. I am very close to getting a right hand drive model in black.

I have been accepted for a business loan(which is f*cked up, but hey ho).

I will by this time next week be the owner of one.

I have started this new thread to get a quick reply from you chaps.

Are they all they are meant to be? When my dad was alive he said if he won the lottery he would buy me one so I see this as justification on spending a ****load of money on an eleven year old car......its what my dad would of wanted

No there were 180 RHD models sold in the UK and they hold their value very well. Tidy sub 100k RHD models still fetch 15k upwards. Not bad for a 1995 motor!!

These models do suffer with cracked exhaust manifolds, plus the brakes on them are prone to warping and cracking.

On the up side though with 315bhp they don't hang about!!

A guy at my last company had one, but it was a bit knackered, that was RHD!!!
