Just having a debate at work about convertibles, and which ones have a retractable hard top roof...
For example:
206 CC
307 CC
Megane
Mercedes (CLK/SLK)?
New Tigra
Can anyone think of any others?

You can lower it from a distance remotely with a button on the ignition key, no clips need unclipping

I used to have a fully automatic roof on my HOnda S2000 GT.
It was very fast and involved my mate Wally from the building site. I gave him the signal and Wally would unleash the demolition ball at the roof. It did involve a couple of technicalities:-
1) Wally had to be dead accurate
2) I always recommend keeping the windows down when doing it
A bonus though was that the roof came off faster than any of the other cars you mention, the downside was that it never went back on too well after that.........

The problem is, of course, that you can't really have a "fold" in the middle of the roof, so the boot has to be as long as the centre section of the roof. This means most of the hard-top cabrios tend to be smaller cars, with small roofs.
