The good thing about Bluefin is that you can unplug it & there wont be anything showing on the ecu, thus making warranty claims easier ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I have got a ST170 & apart from a couple of little niggles that i have had (its only 3 weeks old) its been fine & can tramp over the "twisties"

The Bluefin has 4 different maps
1 - Standard with 95 Ron
2 - Standard with 97 Ron
3 - Exhaust & Induction With 95 Ron
4 - Exhaust & Induction With 97 Ron
All maps make a difference to the ST & IIRC that the 8bhp is for the standard with 95 Ron petrol.
As i said the good thing about it is that i can be unplugged in a matter of minutes & then plugged back in & away you
The handset is also capable of checking & clearing fault codes, along with check ing various ecm parameters though thankfully for some you cant mess around with them![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I personally am going for a custom map ie with a friend of a friend
or the Unichip from Dastek ......... when the i have saved a few pennies

but with bluefin on the RS you get about 30bhp increase and shed loads more torque.
8 bhp overall doesnt sound much at all but i bet it would feel like a lot more due to the increase in torque across the entire rev range.

i didn't think you could change cars , so it implies on the web site , also does it have to be connected all the time to utilise the extra power , being a bit thick here !!
