My mate got one just after xmas , Today (on a very private track) were cars have been known to do top speeds runs , ???? Think its 2 mile, ?? we had a little race , I won, UK with a few mods , and big YES he was trying LoL !!! cos he says so , we did have a small side bet aswell , >> I have his car for a weekend , All in good fun , !!! cheers,

I still don't understand why people try and compare the scooby to the M3? 2 differant types of car???

16.8 for 0-200km/h the E46 M3 SMG II according to one source. Think you'd need to add some (probably 1-2s) for the other 6km/h, and then some again if that is off the speedo Andy?

deep-cos thats what the 2 cars that went head to head were!!!
don't get me wrong, i love the m3, but the fact remains it got spanked by a rice box costing a quarter of its price

How do you know Alan's car only cost £10k inc mods and a 03 M3 can be bought for £30k.

Deep, I get 22mpg average in mixed use, which I think is OK for 450 BHP/400 lbft? My insurance is under £700 pa all mods declared. Pretty cheap all round for the performance. Any suggestions on doing it cheaper?
