When ford brought the original Focus out, it was so fresh and edgy looking compared to it's competitors and now they replace it with sommat which is just plain anonymous
Good move

I don't think it looks too bad........ok its hasnt got radical styling but the drive is meant to be better than the previous model.......I rated the handling on the out-going focus so it must be at least a decent drive. The interior looks better than before. Interested to see what performance models ford give us on this platform.......

I personnally loved the old focus and found it a cracking car to drive seemed to get one as a hire car everytime i go to spain to see the folks. But the new one is undeniably ugly another jelly mould like the sierra

One drove past me the other day. It's one of those cars that in 10 years time will look ancient. The original focus still looks good now.

I think the MK1 is a much better looking car. Despite it being a few years old now, it still looks fresh and modern - many doomsayers at the time of it's launch said it would date because it was radical. That has proved not to be the case. To be honest, I don't think they needed to change it. I think a lot has to do with the modern obession with changing car shapes every couple of years (anyone at Subaru reading this??)

I think the new Focus is a natural progression from the current one, things need to change or we'd never get anywhere.

I just hope the new model doesn't effect the resale value of mine too much!

I remember when the old one was first released, no-one would touch it. Friend's dad worked at Ford, he said they were so freaky they couldn't give them away.

Things have changed since then

I wouldn't worry about losing ££££'s on it, now if it were a Scoob then you'd have good reason to be concerned...

I wasn't keen on the new shape at first but it's grown on me a lot, I especially like the rear end of it and of course, it looks much better in a three door
