Default Cars you would have owned...

Ok, what cars would you have liked to have owned from new.

E.g. what cars have you been interested in but perhaps because of their age and condition in second hand form been put off.

They could be cars that you have indeed owned but would have preferred to own from new.

here are mine to start you off;

Renault 5 GT Turbo
Fiat Uno Turbo
Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi
BMW M3 E30
Lancia 037 Stradale
Lancia Delta Integralle Evolution 2
Ferrari 288 GTO / F40

Cool

MkI Golf GTi Preferably a Campaign in Silver I bet it would show the new overweight pretender the way home

I owned a Silver 1.6 5speed with Pirelli alloys for about 2 years, but it was a tatty example which eventually died on me

Mercedes 450 SEL 6.9
Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 (but only in manual form)
BMW M3 (E30)
Audi RS2
Mini Cooper (original)
Porsche 928 GTS

Essentially, I could afford any of the above now, but would have loved them from absolute, the-odo-is-on-zero, hand-over-the-keys new.

Sierra Cosworth RS500
Sierra Cosworth Saph
Renault 5 GT Turbo
Escort RS Turbo
Fiesta RS Turbo
Nissan Pulsar GTiR
Lancia Delta Intregrale

All the above cars were before my driving time, I was only about 10 when the Escort Cosworth came out and about 7 when the 5 Turbo came out, all cars i would love to have owned but because of how much some of them cost and how old they are, i will never get to own one. pity they wont make another cosworth

If you were 7 when the "5" came out, then you'd have been one of the few people that fitted in the bucket seats I was thinking of getting one, but my love handles kept me propped 6" out of the seat 4 stone lighter now though

Ford keep promising a new Cossie Focus 300bhp and 4WD, with that cracking chassis Shame the new one's so Fugly, but then again, I drive a Scoob
