Hi guys, seen a beautiful one of these in the Asseto Corsa limited edition guise. Thinking of chopping in the 996 C4 for one of these.
I have heard scary things about Maserati build quality on the 3200, and also in relation to brittle engines.
Anyone have experience of 3200s?
Thanks

On a personal note, I think you'd be insane to swap, but each to thier own. The 3200 is far less highly regarded as the later 4200, nervous steering, iffy reliablilty, there were several other issues why the hacks didn't particularly rate it highly when it came out, appaling ride quality was another, searcg for a road test, try top gear road test reprints.
The Porker is a sound investment and reliable long term ownership prospect, 3200's are now going for less than £25, similar year C4's would go for at leat £10k more, once again, I think I'd be crazy to change but if you really like them that much.............
