Info on audi a4 1.8T
does anyone have any experiance with these cars. im looking at getting the new shape so after Y reg. wanted to know what there like also i know some of the older 1.8t engines did used to blow up, does this still happen on the new ones? any info appreciated

As long as its got full service history it'll be fine. 1.8T is a bomb proof engine but beware of bodged mods and remaps. Not saying remaps are bad just stay away if the mileage is high as the turbo is likely to be tired.

cheers mate gonna hopefully look for a lowish miler. not gonna touch any that are modded thats for me to do

I bought a 1.8 T Cab last week, not driven it loads but I'm very impressed up to now. Super smooth and a little bit of poke there if you need it.
Already prefer it to my 330D
