Th hire co. changed the cars today...
i had been running around in a C200 Kompressor, very nice , but a bit thirsty!!
anyway as the tax expires on monday they dropped down a replacement..
vaux 1.7 diesel sport.
dont make me laugh!!!!!
i have driven many diesels, and must admit that one or 2 are very good, and have the same punch as a stsndard car.. the cmax 2.0 zetec td is well nippy!!!
the vaux... it was that bad i though it was a standard diesel!!!
unfortunatly it turns out it has a turbo .... whether it works is open to debate...
ok the car is new, and only had 65 miles on the clock, but there is nothing there!!! no bioost from the turbo, just a standard pull upto the required speed... suspension.. rock feckin hard, just what you need with a back injury!!!
in a nutshell.... not one to reccomend!!!
