Audi - whats the difference between new S4 and old S4 ?
I'm looking at getting an Audi next and am a little confused as to what was done with the recent facelift to the Audi A4 range.
I've been told that the facelifted cars are literally a new generation A4. eg. every panel, etc... is different to the old one. Is this true ?
Yet the cabriolet doesn't seem to have changed at all ? Is there a new cabriolet due ?
Don't know about anyone else but I prefer the look of the old A4 / S4 compared to the new one ?

I assume your talking about the difference between the B6 and B7 (4.2 V8) rather than the 2.7 V6 TT ? As far as I'm aware not a lot apart from that aweful new corporate Audi front grill....I'm sure that there will be a new Cab as well.

The cab always takes a while to appear after the saloon/avant facelift. I think the new S4/RS4 aesthetically looks pretty damn cool, but then again I think every generation of S4 Avant has looked good and aged well. However residuals of the later S4s have to suffer from facelift becoming available.
