I have the workshop manual on cd but it's in my office at the moment. I'm sure that has a wiring diagram. I'll try and drop into my office later and I'll grab it.

Wiring issues are common though What is your problem?

Mozza, I picked up a 16v 1990 model, re-sprayed in yellow, and just had a full engine re-build for 3k, car is a bit of a basket case, paint on interior trim (spilt) and elec problems, needs a few bits (not expensive ones, door handles etc) prob needs some money, 500 max to make it A1...Love it, best sports cars from the 80's (Integrale) and 90's (Scoob) on my drive

Paul, there are a few bits that need doing, oil pressure and temp gauges inop, fuel gauge is iffy, some earthing problems, headlights..... you know how they are.... Many thanks if you can get the diagram!

Mad555, It's ok, I am highly experienced in car electrics, diagrams just help

Hi

Sorry but I was pushed for time today so I didn't drop into my office. Send me a pm with your address etc and I'll burn a copy and send it to you

My old 16 valve used to peak at exactly 1.2 bar and hold roughly about that.

From memory there should be 3 pipes that come up to the front panel and attched to that should be the boost solenoid. It's been a while though so don't quote me on that

First port of call for you is the earthing block down near the battery, I removed mine and cleaned it all up and refitted it. That should help

You might like to get onto the Evoforum for asking for advice at http://forums.delphiforums.com/evoforum/messages
I used the guys on there when I had serious thoughts about buying an Lancia Evo before getting my Scoob - often some serious pi$$ taking but also guys with good knowledge.
Good luck !

Good choice, my last motor before the current scoob was a 1990 16v Integrale.

In 2 years the only electrics were new steering column switch unit and some sensors.

Used to Boost to 1.4bar in 4th or 5th with Evo Engineering fast road chip. Engine was rock solid.

Very very nice car and I do miss it. Fuel consumption never made it to 20mpg I seem to remember, more like 10, but the torque was just immense, makes my current wagon seem a bit weedy in that department.
