My mate is wanting rid of his Pug 205 1.9 gti in miami blue J reg...
Its had a bump at the back and needs a new rear tailgate and bumper..otherwise in pretty decent order.....
How much would it be worth if I was to get rid of it as is...no tax or test...?

Depends on how bad the bump is - but late 1.9's in Miami blue are quite sort after, so you should get at least a few hundred on ebay I reckon assuming its not a total wreak and hasnt got a massive mileage.
All sorted with T&T you'd probably be looking at 1800-2000 assuming the mileage isnt too high. Future classic so values are on the up for tidy examples

wrecks in miami go for £500-£1000, mint ones are 1.5k to 2.5k. Phase 2 non cat miamis are the most desired 205 GTi
Although its a bad time for selling 205s at the moment
I would buy your friend a night on the town, its worth quite a bit without T&T and smashed.
I just repaired my rear end, sounds the same as this. Needed new taillight, bumper, bumper mounts, rear arch boy kit, rear valence refitting cost about £60 with 2nd hand parts/DIY, insurance wanted £800.

Yep, Im going to source all the parts 2nd hand.....
Its in very good nick other than the damage, which is really a light tap on the back....
I'll probably fix it, tax and test it, and try and make a few hundred squid on it....every little helps....or if it drives as well as he says it does, I might even keep it as a 2nd car (planning on getting a Porsche 996)
