New Ford Focus (dodgy paint)
Anyone else noticed the different coloured front bumpers on the new ford focus?
At first I thought it was a bad spray job/repair on one near me (first one I'd seen) But now every one I look at has a darker front bumper to the rest of the car.
Looks blumin awful and can't say I'd buy a new car like it, just looks like it's had a dodgy repaint.
Pretty shoddy if you ask me

There is a possibility tha that the bumpers have been re-painted, I once heard that as much as 75% of new cars have had paintwork before the buyer receives the car

The majority of bumpers on new ford cars these days are painted else where and not on the same production line as the rest of the car so there will be a diffrence in shades of certain colours, you would be surprised as to the amount of new cars that are factory repaired at the end of the line and at the dealerships. Having worked at a ford PDI centre painting cars for 4 years im not surprised to say the least but im sure it happens at other manufactures and there dealerships,
