Good choice of engine....

http://www.geae.com/engines/military/t58

If its good enough for "the United States Marine Corps uses it on Marine One, the U.S. President's helicopter transport." then sure as hell it will do fine in an MR2

I have a hunch it might have difficulty in passing its MOT......I do like the ankle busting front wing though.

I thought it doubled up as a lawn mower when driven at high speed over a long grassed lawn

Not any more they don't, the Marine One choppers are no longer Sikorsky VH3-D's, as HMX-1 have recently acquired Westland Merlins EH-101's (Built by Lockheed Martin under licence) with Rolls Royce engines

PS: 187 mph seems a bit slow for a car with two jet turbines in it, Fireforce can manage well over 300mph with just one

Isn't it the chassis that can't take the speed, not a question of the engine producing enough thrust?

Probably, but you'd kinda hope that they stiffenned the chassis up a bit when they cut that ******* big hole in the back

Although it is American so you never know
