Looking for a Skoda Octavia VRS or 1.8T Elegance Estate 4x4
As per title maximum I have to spend is £6500. I am looking for a lowish mileage and relatively new or am I just being unrealistic? How are these cars for reliability? Its quite a lot for me to be spending at the moment so a good drive and reliability is high on the list. Also what is Insurance like for them.
Any other advice/anyone selling?
If no joy will probably be an Ford Focus 1.8 or Audi A4 5 door 1.8T from my local Mitsubishi dealership. Any comments on these cars?
Thanks
Aaquil.

I can't comment on those specific models, but my wife has had an Octavia 20v turbo estate for the past 3 years. Reliability has been excellent - in all the time we've had it the only problem has been a faulty battery. Build quality for the money is excellent too.

I've seen your post on briskoda which is probably a better place for information.
A vRS is going to have high miles for that money and the 4X4's are a bit rare.
If you are thinking of the vRS then I assume you don't need four wheel drive. If not why not go for a 1.8T Elegance instead of the 4X4? You'll get a newer car with less miles or spend the money saved on remap/suspension mods.
If you could stretch another £1k direct cars have 53plate Elegance 1.8T's with 15k miles for £7698, they say Auto's in the adds but best to ring as their adds are usually wrong.
Cheers
