reasonable roadholding. devent enough performance, good interior but a drivers car it is NOT. Better go for the S3 unless you really must have the TT looks and interior.

i test drove the new limited edition quattro sport tt the other weekend. looked good with two tone paint, 18inch alloys and big boot spoiler.
inside was very nice with the big recaro buckets and stripped out.
just for £29,999 it didnt seem exciting and the visibility was ****e out of the back.
Didnt sound amazing either.
Definteley prefer my classic wrx.

Not a big fan of them. The fashion accessory has worn off. Far too many around now. At my appartments alone, there are 3 of them, out of 21 plots. Would rather have an S3 myself.
Go for the hole hairdresser look and get the TT roadster !!!

My other half wanted one, we went to our 2 local Audi dealers. Both said we would have to come back if we wanted a test drive (even though they were not busy) we were alowed to sit in one though. Sitting inside was a dreadful experiance in made me feel nausious. The cheap plastic seems to be everywhere and in your face the windows were so small. It has the only car that made me feel ill, in the end i bought her a boxster.

Very nice interior, well built, and quite spritely to drive...BUT.....awful image...a real hairdressers/PA's car......and thats not even merely a stereotype....just have a look at the type of people who drive them.....noveau riche mobile(on finance of course!)

Just about to start a thread along the same lines. Test drove the 3.2 DSG and I was impressed, a bit heavy but a nice kick of power and the V6 growl is great. She wants a roadster, so I was a bit pissed when I found a A1 3.2 DSG 2k coupe less than book...
Anyway, two things that I have noticed, interiors are terrible. Either people have looked after them or not, and in the examples I have seen have not. All the ones I have seen in dealers have had bad scuffs on the leather on the drivers side, even ex-demos with 2k on the clock.
There are lots of scares at the moment. Lots of reports of buckled OEM 18" wheels up to 02/52 cars, where it is believed that Audi changed the spec, but wont admit to it. There was also a problem with an S series prior to that, that they wont admit to either.
There is a gearbox scare as well....
Just joined their forum so have a look at my thread....
Cheers,
