Default CRX VTEC Import

I have a chance of getting a slighty bashed up CRX Vtec import on a G plate.

It has air con, no PS and the engine sounds very well like a motorbike!

The only thing wrong with it is that the front wing and start of the near side door are scuffed and would need replacing (wing at least).

My mates wants 350 GBP to take it off his hands, I know this was a fast motor as I have been in it several times and I dont know what it had done to in in Japan but it used to rev to 9K revs! Im very tempted

Had a bit of a race with it in my Clio Cup and they wpretty even apart from in 3rd gear where the Cup started to reel him in a little, maybe the crx maybe was not in the VTEC zone?

Know any good forums / any other info on these cars and how much a new front wing would cost?

Have a look on the CRX-UK website

If it's an import it should have power steering as standard.

Si - 1.6 16v non-VTEC approx 130bhp (same as UK 16v, except for PS/air con)
SiR - 1.6 VTEC approx 150bhp (same as UK 1.6VT, except for PS/aircon)

The SiR is a little more expensive to insure, but the UK (VTEC or non-VTEC) cars are IG12.

There are people who break CRXs on that site, as well as on ebay. I've seen a good wing for about £20. Doors should be no problem to get hold of, but it may be cheaper to get it repaired depending on the extent of the damage.

£350 is a good price, depending on mileage, condition, etc.
