For simplicity Id describe it as an Impreza WRX Type R (RA not STI). This way youre accurately describing the car, whilst letting them know what it is. You can baffle them with GC8(E-F-G)27D (the Applied Model Number) later.....

What do you mean? Im sure youre aware that the Type RA was the cheapest car in the range? The GC8(E-F-G)27D was a cheap way into two-door Impreza ownership. It was much cheaper than an STI Type-R and its inferior in every respect. The car is not especially rare, over 3,000 of them were made after all. The fact that far fewer have been imported confirms its inferiority compared to the STI, rather than icreases its value. As I said, its worth more than a four dorr saloon, but a good deal less than an STI Type-R.

Ive given the best advice that I can; ultimately a car'll only sell for what someone will pay for it. Any Impreza Coupe should be easier to sell than the corresponding Saloon the way things are though.

You certainly are not going to sell it on here now are you. Try checking the oil level in it from time to time, may last longer. Thats the small dipstick - dipstick!
