MY04 Range Rover 4.4
My mum has had this car since November last year. It replaced the aging 2.5 DHSE we had previously. Today it went in for it's first 10k service @ 9000 miles. And it need 2 new rear tyres . Surely this is excessive for even a 325lb/ft 2 tonne Range Rover ?
Anyone had any experience of this, or any comments - explanations ?

My mums 04 has done 20k and it's still on original rubber.
Did you see the old tyres or is the garage having her leg up?
If you have the 3 years free servicing then they are probably trying to find other ways of extracting money.

I found out that they had been over inflated - seem strange as my mum wouldn't know where to start so i imagine they have been like that from day 1
In addition it has had front brake pads !!!!!
And yes it was bought with 5 years free servicing [thank god]

If you speak to anyone who's bought a new Range Rover vehicle in the last 35 years or so they'll soon point out the monumental running expenses. Some things never change it seems.
Very good thing getting getting the 5 years servicing deal.
