The missus used to have a Fiat with this setup, when she bought the car the salesman gave ger a 10 minute lecture about not losing the red key. Think he mentioned £700 but that might not have included the vat.
He aslo said that if anyone was trading in one without the key they'd knock that amount off the value.
Apparently its not the key that cost the money, its the new ecu that goes with it. Don't know if you could get one from a scappy if it still has the key to go with it.
