go for the 330Ci instead.

Check out www.antandpete.co.uk theirs is a re-mapped 330d which produces 260bhp or therabouts, very, very, quick and more torque than an M5 i believe.

what would scooby do

I went from an STI v5 Type R to a 330CI, and whilst the outright performance and grin factor has gone, I can still woop *** big style, and not have to worry about leaving it parked for 5 mins, hijacks, expensive insurance (£1200 down to £400), don't need a knocklink, don't need to hunt around for optimax, don't have to worry about running out of NF, don't have to worry about being called a chav (the list goes on.. )

anyhoo, I now cruise at 95 and still average a gnat's **** hair under 30mpg, even with aircon on. Satnav, full cream leather, DVD, TV, Xenon headlights, PDC, and the weirdest thing corner brake control, it's like sideways ABS.. feels wacky when it comes on

Looks cool on 18" rims and skinny tyres, full M sport suspension etc.

.. but the 330D, not driven it .. but I know it's got enough grunt to embarrass the lesser scoobs..
