Another "Opinions?" thread. C32 AMG Estate
Thinking of one of these as the space is required and the performance is terrific. Any owners out there care to impart any wisdom?
I currently run a new Golf Diesel and the wife has a Cooper S. The Cooper would ahve to go and the above would replace. The Mini is great fun and has all the toys but alas no room for the pooch. Used to have a Scooby Wagon and miss it soooooo badly.
Looked on Autotrader and found examples around the 20k mark. Only doubt, I owned a C-class current shape from new when first launched and as we all know the screwing together left a lot to be desired. Would this be different on a slightly newer build and an AMG?

I've got a saloon C32 AMG. Its very fast and comfortable. In AMG form it comes fully loaded, lots of toys. Only buy this if you want a discreet, comfortable, fast cruiser, it does NOT handle that well. Thats what I wanted at the time I bought and so suits me down to the ground.
Acceleration is not an issue,it is FAST. It has circa 350 BHP and the same in torque, supercharger means go is instant, no lag
It returns no more than 22 mpg and loves to eat rubbber.
Make sure you get one with COMAND ie Sat Nav. It works really well and helps with reasale.
If you want something with as much practicality but handles better only the M5 will do.

Audi S4 Avant has now come to my attention as a possible fast pooch carrier?
They look great in that Flat blue colour and again the performance is up to scratch. If I remember from my TT days MTM and AMD are the boys for mods on these beasts.
Anyone out there with experiences of this car, modded or standard?

But I would have to sell the house the dog the missus and my sole.
But out of my price range. S4 is looking more attractive and tunable at the moment.
