Holy mackerel

0-62 mph: 2.5 secs
0-125 mph: 7.3 secs
0-187 mph: 16.8 secs

So at 125mph you can gain another 62mph (to 187) in 9.5 secs

Mid in-line.
W16.
86 x 86 mm bore and stroke.
7993cc.
Twin overhead camshafts per cylinder bank.
987bhp @ 6000rpm.
Manual seven-speed.
Four wheel drive.
Unitary chassis.
Wishbone and coil spring suspension all round.
Ventilated disk brakes.
Top speed of 252mph.
0-60 in 3 seconds.
Looks a bit naff.

But we still like a lot

Errrr........ No. www.streeteliminatoruk.com

Quick car, but still some way to go to beat the "designed in a pub, built in a shed" gang.

Well done to Bugatti for building it though and hence sticking two fingers up to the politically correct tree huggers that want to stop us doing all things we enjoy.

Nige.

Veyron - 8 litres, 16 cylinders. Surely even with the alleged falling education standards, no-one should need a calculator to be able to divide both those numbers by 4?!

radius = 1/2 diameter = 43mm

height = 86mm

volume of a cylinder = pi.r(sq).h

3.141x1849x86 = 499462.972 cubic mm

x4 cylinders = 1997851.896

= 1997.85 cc

I personally use Pi.d(sq)/4
