Ferrari 348TS - how to insure it for the day?
A mate has a Ferrari 348TS and its been sat in the back of his garage for ages - until now
He's decided to sell so its at another mates dealership up for sale. Its taxed and tested and ready to go and he said as long as I can sort the insurance I can have it for the day
So, how do I go about getting insurance for this car? I believe its under the dealership insurance for those interested in buying but I don't think it will cover me if I took it out for the day.
Won't be doing anying fancy in it, just surprise the GF and take her for a nice meal etc.
I so want to get this sorted and he's fine with it.
edit/ Can I just do a "Change of vehicle" with my insurer and then change it back the following day? My scoob is sat in the garage most of the time nowadays so its quite safe.

I would just phone you own insurance company and see if they do it for you.

Take out a new policy and you have a 14 day cooling off period. You can cancel the policy for a full refund after the day provided you don't crash it.
