Default Ferrari 348TS - how to insure it for the day?

A mate has a Ferrari 348TS and its been sat in the back of his garage for ages - until now

He's decided to sell so its at another mates dealership up for sale. Its taxed and tested and ready to go and he said as long as I can sort the insurance I can have it for the day

So, how do I go about getting insurance for this car? I believe its under the dealership insurance for those interested in buying but I don't think it will cover me if I took it out for the day.

Won't be doing anying fancy in it, just surprise the GF and take her for a nice meal etc.

I so want to get this sorted and he's fine with it.

edit/ Can I just do a "Change of vehicle" with my insurer and then change it back the following day? My scoob is sat in the garage most of the time nowadays so its quite safe.

Just change your insurance over. You may have to pay an admin fee but it'll be worth it

All i know about the 348TS is that its ....king slow.

I would just phone you own insurance company and see if they do it for you.

Lucky man - change of vehicle with insurance company. It's no different to when you insure a courtesy car yourself from a dealer is it

Enjoy!

Take out a new policy and you have a 14 day cooling off period. You can cancel the policy for a full refund after the day provided you don't crash it.
