honest thoughts on leon cupra r

i recon they would be an even match to be honest..what the scooby would make up in pull off the seat may gain in the middle ground. both do over 140..the seats book time is 149. im using the bugeye as comparison.

Yes, lots of places offer remaps for Scoobies. In conjunction with a decat exhaust, you'll see about circa 270bhp and similar torque, not too disimilar to what Jabba can do with a Leon Cupra R
The Scooby would win on the off owing to the 4wd traction and have better traction in the bends. In a straight line from a rolling start they'd be very little if anything to seperate them, the Leon may even come out better owning to lower transmission losses.
The Leon is not so great when it rains though, and a tuned one is even worse. A scooby can handle a lot more power than std. in the wet or dry
